Substance abuse means that we have missed the best things and
the best way in life.
We have substituted an inferior product to meet our needs and to
provide satisfaction.
As a Christian initiative, part of our task on the fort will be to make
available the ideas, teachings and possibilities which are offered by
the person of Jesus Christ.
The detox counselling programme will contain the Christian understanding
of why problems happen and the solution offered in Christian
This is centered on the person of Jesus Christ and his forgiveness.
Clients will have the opportunity to respond if they wish in times of
devotions which will be part of the ongoing life of “An Island of Hope”.
No client will be barred on account of their background or faith.
