Maritime Volunteer Service
MVS are starting up a new unit at Grimsby based
on the Hambledon. They are aiming to maintain the vessel and help Streetwise
crew her for trips to the Fort. They have 4 or 5 new recruits who need to be
trained up to RYA standards. MVS are looking for instructors,
administrators and engineers to help run the unit and train the recruits. There
will be the opportunity to take the vessel on training voyages. This would be
the ideal opportunity for someone who likes being in boats and is happy to pass
on knowledge and experience.
