SAILINGS

Staying on the fort - an option
Conditions are basic, so regard this as a camping trip!
You will need to provide your own food. We provide the refreshments.
We are initially aiming at dropping a working party off on a Saturday and picking them up on Tuesday.
Later when we get better facilities we will go for a week's stay for those who want it!
Clearly this will greatly increase the work completed.

All travellers are required to contribute something to the day's work!

Safety Issues

The fort can be a dangerous environment.  Lifejackets must be worn on the trip to and from the fort (provided) and also on the transfer from the ship to fort and fort to ship.

You must work in pairs on the fort and be conscious of the fragility of some sections of the landing stage.  Safe areas are marked.

A safety briefing will be held on the forward deck of the ship on the outward journey.

It is regretted that no indemnity against accidents and losses can be insured by the Trust due to the prohibitive cost in the market place at this time.
